Storey, Secretary of the visiting Australian Soccer team, states a companc is being formed to bring out an English team with a capital of Cl 1,000, of which New Zealand will be expected-to find C;i,000. The matter is now in the hands of the English governing body, but it had notified it could not promise to send a team next year. The New Zea-land-Association will use every exertum to raise its quota.

At a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Fnion. a letter was received from the West Coast Fnion. stating that at present it had no definite control over the ground at Grcymouth. which the League was trying to obtain. It was suyosted that the New Zealand Fnion should invest C2<MI in the Greymouth Trotting Club’s debentures.
