POLLARD'S PICTURES.
BEET LYTTEL AND SYLVIA REEAMER TO-NIGHT.
To-night at the Princess Theatre two big pictures will Ik? screened by Pollards consisting of the six port Metro Corporation production, “A Message From Mars,” and the huge Blackton production “Respectable by Proxy,” starring Sylvia Bremer. “Respectable by Proxy” presents a clever comedy drama in the full sense of the word, for the dramatic episodes arc of the melodramatic standard blending with first class comedy. Sylvia 11 reamer and Robert Gordon hear the brunt of most of the work and are supported by Miss Eulalie Jensen. The story tells of a foolish marriogc with an actress and an early separation. “A Message From Mars” deals with a wealthy young Englishman who dabbles in science as a hobby, and is the personification ol egotism. The character of Horace Parker is played by Mr Bert Lyttcl who becomes drowsy and finally falls asleep. He dreams that an odd character suddenly appears and glares at him. “M ho are you?” “I’m a messenger from Mars, and 1 am sentenced to visit the most selfish man on earth. 1 am condemned to reform von. Aon must come with me at once.”
