The emtertnininent of Community Singing to be organised for Saturday night week in aid of the fund to help the Blind will he a novelty for Hokitika. Jlut apart from that the cause will commend the occasion to the generosity of the public. i ial result should lie very gratifying. .Mi 11. J. Kvaiis is organising the Sing-Song for the benefit of the fund, and "ill have the assistance of .Mr \Y. F. Berry, as conductor, and Mr alcI.can's orchestra to lead tile singing. A sheet of words with a score or more ol songs and choruses will be circulated among the audience. Several solos with chums effect "ill be sung. Tt is intended to invite tlio footballers to attend in force and sing their popular choruses, also to seek the assistance of the returned soldiers with their choruses. There will he songs for everyone and tile night should be a memor-
able one for Hokitika. The motto for the occasion will be ‘‘Let’s All Sing,”
