The Prince noticed him, and was deeply affected to hear his story, lie shook hands with him, and said he was proud to meet, a Japanese warrior who had shed his blood side by side with British soldiers for the sake of the British Kmpiie. While the Prime was speaking, the silence was profound, everyone strain-

jug to hear what he said. But al the end the great impression which lie had created was unmistakable.
