During tlic quarter ended March 151 tile most important development points have been No. 5 South and N. 9 North levels, the latter being' the lowest worked in U>e mine. No. 5 South was extended 10ft on reef practically continuous, averaging 24 inches m width .with a value of lost to the ton. The total payable length of this block ot stone is*now 2021 ft. 1931 ft of winding and rising was completed, practically all on reef. The total footage of payable reef from all development points was 417Jft, averaging 15.19dwt over 28 inches, the' battery crushed 9049 tons yielding gold to the value of •914,981 19s 4d,-and resulting sands were cyanidcd, yielding bullion to the value of £2341 13s Id. Besides this 195 tons of accumulated concentrates were treated, yielding gold valued at £099. The premium on the above gold is assessed at C 1707. The yield based on gold at standard value averages ont at 36/3.9 per ton:
