SPARGO DEFEATS McBRIDE. SYDNEY, April 30.
At tho Stadium, Spargo defeated Stanley Mcßride, the American oil points. Though the Australian outboxed his opponent at all points, the American literally interpreting some of the rules, put lots of vim into his work, and he kept Spargo busy. In the first round Mcßride punched him half through the ropes and in the sixth he floored the winner with a heavy light to tlie ribs.
