Athletic & Cycling Sports

CASS SQUARE-—TUESDAY

The Athletic and Cycling Club’s sports on Cass Square on Easter Tuesday ])remise to be a highly successful gathering. Arrangements are being completed to assure a good track for all events, and there have been splendid entries for the various events, which include running, cycling, chopping and sawing, dancing and field sports. The management have decided to arrange an extra event, a primary and secondary schools’ relay rac-e; entrance free, to be received on the ground, with trophies for winners. Competitois in primary school event not to average more than 14 years. The sports will start at 12.45 p.m. sharp. In the evening a grand dance will be held in the Supreme Hall.
