MISS HOEFT’S PERFORMANCE. . - AUCKLAND, April 4. Miss Paulino Hoeft swam, unpaced, 300 yards in 4min 10 3-ssec, .beating the existing world’s record, held by Miss H. James, at -Manchester by 9 2-osee. Miss Bleibtry swam the distance at Sydney in 4min 7see, but this is not yet officially recognised.
