TTndfield nnd Redden are trainum steadily for the moo for the world’s sculling championship, which is to ho rowed on the Wanganui River nn April 18. The weather has interfered somewhat, hut both men have done solid work both on water nnd nn land. Raddon is still over weight, but Hadfiolrl is in the pink of condition. Both covered the full distance today, pleasing their respective parties. Much interest is being taken in the race and many enthusiasts virit the course daily. The sculling committee, at a meeting last evening, decided to issue nn invitation to the Governor-General, the Roomier and the leader of the Opposition and Sir Joseph Ward.
