CYCLING.

TO PAROA AND BACK

The bicycle race run on Saturday afternoon from Surburban Hotel to Paroa and back (about ten miles) resulted as follows: — 11. Kitehinglmm (150 sees) 1 D. Wright (scr) 2 C. Williams (120 secs) 3 W. Blacltmun (30secs) was fourth. M*Kay broke bis handle bars at the start, but secured another machine and participated in the race. Kitchingham won very easily, although he rode right out. The second man, Wright, was a comfortable distance ahead of the third man. There was a good rase for third, Williams beating the veteran, Rlackmun, by about two lengths. Wright, who secured fastest time, rode the distance in 27 minutes H !
