RANGITI KEI RACES. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. £nr TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION] BULLS, March 23. The weather was fine till the sixth race for the second day of the above races, when heavy rain fell. The attendance was good. The tote handled £13,340, against £18,233, making a total for the meeting of £27,880, against £40,1.84 last year. Results:— Grcatford Handicap.—Passionless 1, Bestir 2, Voluble 3. Scr—Simonides, Kareao. Won by a short head, lime 1.1 1-6. Maiden Handicap—Earn 1, Released 2, Whizz Bang 3. Scr.—Miss Beaufort, Tussore. Won by half a length. Time 1.32 2-5. , Sanson Hurdles.— Springtide 1, Kato 2. Naughty 3. All started. Won hv a length and a half. Time 2.55 2-5. Eraser Memorial Handicap.—La Paloma 1, Detroit 2, Equitable 3. All started. Won by a length and a half. Time 1.58. Rangitoto Hack Handicap— Benecto 1 Mark Time 2. Veloeiform 3. Scr.— Red. Won by half a head. Time 1.17 3-5. Ngaaio Welter Handicap.—Spare Moments 1, Left 2, Hallowrojs 3. Scr.— Veloeiform, Skylight. Won by a length and a half. Time 1.52.
