880 Yards New Zealand Championship—Tremhath (Invercargill) 1, Coulter (Geraldine) 2, Butcher (AVaimate) 3. Won easily by eight yards. Time 2.1 4-5.

220 Yards New Zealand Championship—J. Steele, Greymouth (All Black Footballer) 1, Trembath 2, Symister ,Christchurch) 3. A great struggle, won on the tape. Time 24 secs. 100 Yards New Zealand Championship.—Steele (Greymouth) 1, O’Oallaghan (Greymouth) 2, Flint (Christchurch) 3. Won on the tape. Time 10 4-5.

St. Patrick’s Sheffield Handicap of 135 yards:— E. Cook (Invercargill) 1, T. O’Callaghan (Greymouth) 2, Flint (Christchurch) 3. Won by a yard. Time 13 T-5.

The professional bicycling events resulted :
