Enormous crowds assembled to watch ten Loyalty Islanders, who armed with knives offered themselves a-s a bait in the hope of meeting sharks-at (Jose quarters. They swam round for a considerable time well out, but found no takers, the sharks being apparently shy of the coloured bait.
