Vast crowds are visiting the scenes of to-morrow’s ceremonials, watching the eleventh .hour j reparations. They besieged the Palace precincts in the hope of seeing Princess Mary. After a long waif, Urine, ss Mnrv and Lord Lascelles emerged in a motor car. Tlio o-.owd broke ranks an 1 surrounded the car, which aa s brought in a standstill amid a sea of waving hats, handkerchiefs and muffs. Mounted police eventually cleared the way. allowing the-ear to proceed. TNe couple had a foretaste of popular enthusiasm when they motored the length of the Mall, bowing and smiling through ah avenue of gratified spectators. Thousands arc perambulating tin entire route watching tlfe finishing touches being put oil the decorations and erection of stands. A majority of the shopwindows along the route have been lifted out, to provide an interrupted view. Though no scheme of decoration was adopted flags and festoons already make a gay spectacle.
! Again at night the crowds viewed the I illuminations being tested. | Trains from all parts of England start to-night, bringing provincial people to the city. Rain fell in the afternoon. The offi- ' rial prediction states the weathbr is . unsettled for to-morrow.
