Accidents at Rewanui.
coal Miners injured
On Wednesday last about noon, a miner uqmed John Knox, working at tbe State Mine, Rewanui, whilst assisting to lift a truck of coal on to the rails had one hand jammed. One finger was completely severed and the adjoining one badly smashed. He was attended to by Dr Btrice Roy at the Runttilga surgery. As a result of the accident, Mr KllOx will lie incapacitated frdm work for some time.

BishOp sbriie time ago to the effect that it was safer working iii a coal mine than walking across the street in Wellington.
