SHOTS IN PARIS SUBURB
PARIS, Dec. 20. To-night at Boulogne-sur-Seine, a .c----sidential suburb of Paris, three men made a rush/ at a jeweller’s shop window, broke it ,and made a clean sweep of several shelves full of .jeweller., amounting in value to several thousand pounds. Passers-by who attempted t< interfere were driven back by shots from the thieves’ revolvers as they escaped into the darkness. Similar attacks upon jewellers’ shops have been carried out even in broad dafl’-light in the heart of Paris and at Lvons during the last- three months.
