tUSTEALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION CAPE DROWNING DISASTER. 14 LOST IN FISHING BOAT. CAPETOWN, Eefo. 19. * While thirteen men and one boy were fishing from a boi-it’ at False Bay, during n heavy gale, the boat disap- ’ pea-red. Presumably it capsized. All were drowned. Four bodies have been washed ashore.
THE CAPE STRIKE
COAL MINERS RESUMING. CAPETOWN, February 19. It is believed that the coal strike will scon fizzle out. The Wit Bank mine is now reported to be fully working. On the goldfields mining and milling are proceeding to a. considerable extent. Several acts of vioence against the returned strikers are reported.
