lIARI HATH STOCK SALE
At the above yards on Wednesday last Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. hold a sale of stock the yarding comprising 118 sheep and lain!**, and 60 head of cattle. There was a good attendance o| buyers and prices for cattle showed a distinct improvement on late sales. No big lines were entered but well grown two year old cattle sold well. The whole yarding was quitted at satisfactory prices and the following sales made: On account Mr F. Woodham, 69 store lambs at 10s Id, 35 ditto, ewes at 10s 9d, 14 wethers at 11s 3d, one brown gelding at £6. On account Mr T. Cron, 3 dry cows at £3 15s, 1 heifer at £3 10s,' 1 at £4 ss. On account Mr b. Haddock 7 two year steers at £5. On account of Mr A. McArthur three 20 months heifer* at £3. five 2 yr. steers at £4 6s, 5 yearling steers at £2 16s. On account Mr W. St. George 0 dry cows at £4 3s 6d. one aged bull at £2. On nccount client 10 eighteen months steers at £3 ss. On account Mr Jos. Minehan 1 dry cow at £6.
