There was a large attendance and the course was in excellent order. The totalisator investments amounted to £41,718 as against £44,427 last year. Results:— Spreydon Handicap..—Renown 1, Bon Elect 2, Swiftest 3. Won by two lengths. Time 3.55 1-5. Juvenile Handicap.—Betrayer 1, Liaona 2, Ratana 3. Won by two lengths. Time 3.44. Linwood Handicap.—Bellfashion 1, Peter Mac 2, King Kauri 3. Won by half a length. Time 2.13 1-5. Midsummer Handicap.—Locandn Dillon 1 .First Carbine 2, Violo 3. Won by three lengths. Time 4.29 2-5. Cashmere Handicap.—Tradesman 1, Gay Wilkes 2, Wahinepai 3. Won by thre elenghs. Time 4.43 4-6. French Handicap.—Princess Zoe 1, Stormy 2, Final Leave 3. Won by a head. Time 4.39. Liverpool Handicap.—Lord Lytton 1, Prinzora 2, Wild Briar 3. Won by two lengths. Time 4.36 4-5. Craven Handicap.—Paul Default 1, Marie Tempest 2, The Dingo 3. Won by a length. Time 2.47.
