It is notified that the drawing of the All Saints Tennis Club’s art union has been postponed until 30th June next., Petty thieving in the garden and orchards have been reported during the last few days, a number of residences reporting the theft of fruit etc. It i$ to bo hoped that the culprits will be caught and made an example of. A serious accident happened to Max, the young son of Mr and Mrs H. M. Coulson yesterday evening. It appears some other boys attempted to take away his hand-cart, and as a result of his refusal to let go, a stone was thrown which struck him in the eye causing a serious injury, including concussion. At present it is not known to what extent the eyesight will bo affected, but grave fears are expressed of damage to the optic. This is another example of tho danger of stone throwing. Tt appears the stone was a fairly large one, and the blow a very severe one. PMX/HtiKervLtzaxrmLL*
