NEWMAN. After falling behind daily since Monday Inman caught up 600 of his arrears to-day with breaks of 432, 393, 264, and 219. His other best ones during the week were: 494, 277, and 195. The scores now are: Newman 6410; Inman 5600. Newman has been giving a splendid display of all round play the week. His Lest breaks were 351, 535, 113, 365, 337, 320 and five others of over 200. SMITH V. FALKINER. Smith led Fnlkiner by over 800 on Monday's play. The scores now arc: Smith 6482; Falkiner 6166. The week’s best breaks were: Smith 340, 288, 280; Falkiner 288, 264, 258. l'o:h matches are for 16,000. LONDON, January 29.
