One of the finest Motion Pictures of the year is “Mid Channel’' 1 the famous stage-play from the pen of England’s foremost playwright, hV Arthur Pinero, and enacted on the screen by Clara Kimball Young. The strength, timeliness and the intensity of “Mid-Channel” needs no comment, iaa the play has already won worldwide praise. It is enough to say that Clara Kimball Young reveals a dramatic magnetism that is nothing short of electric in its force. That Mid-Channel is considqrd by critics the world over as Pinero's greatest drama of domestic life is enough to insure the tremendous popularity of this super-picture. And, when we, add that the play gains infinitely in its charm by the luxurious settings and rich scenic effects, then the triumph of this superb photodrama of modern marriage is beyond doubt. Itg message is unmistakable it rings out with clarion dear tones.. Many a husband and many a. wife will find’; their lives unfolded in grim truth with each act of this great nhotodrama “Mid Channel” is a distinct achievement in the photodramatie art, and reveals Clara Kimball Young at the peak of her power.
