When the Dail' Eireann resumed, after a brief adjournment, De Valera and his followers attended the sitting.
A deputation from the Irish Labor Party waited on the Dail, and said they were getting impatient and wanted something done to relieve unemployment and, tackle social questions generally.
WHEAT PRICES. (Received This Day at 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 10. The wheat market is easier and quiet in view of lower Argentine and American cables. Quotations are threepence to sixpence lower, Australian parcels firm arrived 51s 3d, afloat 51s 6d.
POISONING CHARGE. (Received This Day at 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 10. Under! examination, Martin would not admit that he suggested poisoned chocolates were sent by Armstrong. He first made the statement to Scotland Yard, office /about the scone incident four weeks after. It was not at his instance that, proceedings were taken.

The value of imports into Britain during December decreased by £57,473,000 sterling compared with a year ago. Exports decreased by £37,256,000 and re-exports by £3,405,000.

The Australian Press understands the butter position is greatly clearer. Low retail prices caused such a strong demand that the Board of Trade have sold half a million boxes of Government stocks since the beginning of the year, including three hundred thousand New Zealand, whichMs entirely cleared. The remainder of the Government stocks consist of about three Hundred thousand boxes of Australian poorer quid ity.
