Foster, a telegraph messenger, 14 years of age, was riding a bicycle on Christmas eve when the machine was carried away by the wind and collided with a telegraph pole. Joseph Egglestone, cabinetmaker, was found dead outside his residence at II p.in. on Saturday. Medical evidence given at the inquest showed that death was due to heart failure. Georgina Dunnctt Hunter, 07, died suddenly oil Sunday morning. Medical evidence at the inquest was to the efleet that the woman Hied of heart failure, following senile decay. CAUGHT IN BINDER. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 27. •Joseph John Herrick, a married man, aged 15, had his right arm cut off in the teeth of a reaper and hinder on Saturday while working on a farm at Tai Tapu. He died early on Christinas morning from shock and loss of blood. At the time of the accident his horses had become frightened and in trying to stop them lie fell in front of tlu* machine.
