Snipers fired on the police woundin'; one constable dangerously. The police returned the fire, killing a civilian and wounding several: A BISHOP’S ADVICE. (Received This Day at 8.30 a.tn.) LONDON, December 27. Bishop Cloynn urged tho parishioners of the diocese to hold a public meeting in support of the ratification of the peace treaty. A SHOOTING. (Received This Day at 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 27. During a fraternal boxing meeting at Dungarvin, in which Irish Constabulary and members of the Republican Army participated, an altercation arose. It is alleged a constable fired and one man was wounded. A FARM RAIDED. Received This Day at 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 27. Armed men raided a farm house at Letterkenny, County Donegal. A farmer and farm servant put up a fight and the servant and one of the raiders were killed. Five raiders were arrested.
