As a result of Ihe rctiiemcn't of Conimissioiier O’Donovan from the Police Force at the end of Dilceinber, life following promotbns and transfers have been made : Superintendent Wright, AUbkland, 'promoted to' Commissioner, and takes up duties on January Ist. 1922. Superintendent Hendry, Christchurch, Hiidcceds Superintendent Wriglit at Auckland. Inspector Sheehan. Hamilton. has been promoted to superintendent, and succeeds Htrp'drintendent Hendry at Ch'risteh'l'ii'iih, ' Inspectin' iVo'lilman, Commissioner of ‘Police, Samoa, succeeds Inspector Shoelain at Hamilton. ' Superintendent Cruiwkshank succeeds Inspector Wohlmnn as Corfimissionor of Police at Samoa. Stih-Tnspecibor Willis. Dunedin, recently of Wellington, has been promoted to inspector, and succeeds Inspectin' Hustle, retired, at Tiinaru. Senior-Sergeant Ernies'. Invercargill has been promoted to sub-inspector and succeeds sub-inspector Willis at Dunedin. Sergeant Seandrett, South Dunedin, luls been promoted to senior-sergeant and succeeds Senior-Sergeant Redes at Invercargill. Senior-Sergeant Kelly, Christchurch, is transferred to Wellington. Senior-Sergeant Lowin, Dunedin, is transferred to Christchurch in place of Senior-Sergeant Kelly. Sergeant Mathieson, Gore, has been promoted to senior sergeant, and sue reeds Senior-Sergeant l.ewin at Dunedin.
Sergeant Moult. Dunedin, is tranfer red lo Gore, in place of Sergeant Ma thieson.
Sergeant Murray, Dunedin, succeeds Sergeant Seandrett at South Dunedin. Sergeant (VJlara, Wellington, has been promoted to senior-sergeant, in charge of Taranaki street station, Wellington.
Sergeant I.opdell, IV Kuiti. has been promoted to seniin-sorgonut. and succeeds Senior-Sergeant lioiirke, retired. Wanganui.
Sergeant Fernley, Auckland, succeeds Sergeant, I.opdell at Te Kuiti. Sergeant Dempsey, Auckland, is transferred to Gisborne to fill (fee vacancy of assist-sergeant.
