The assets of the firm consisted of hook debts C27.5T5, cash in bank £llO, office furniture about 2200 There was nothing to indicate that the linn of Hammond and Crncknoll was a continuance of the firm of Burton and Hammond. Accused pleaded guillv and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was refused. ALLEGED THEFT. NAFTER, December 15. Napier police arrested to-day, .lames Redslmw and Thomas Henry Rndshaw his son. on charges of failing to account for £0 and 2i!o respectively, Lodge money. The police stated the actual amount involved was very large. Both were remanded on bail.
