[BY TELEGRATH —I’ER TRESS ASSOCIATION’} THE COUNCIL. WELLINGTON, Dec. 9. The Legislative Council met at 2.50 p.m. The Council passed eight local hills and rose at 3.22 p.m. THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. After formal business was of. the House proceeded to discuss the Estimates in which the Public Accounts Committee recommended reductions amounting to £200,110. Nine clauses were passed before the House rose at 12.40 a.m. till .230 ' p.m. on Monday.
