LATE LOCALS.
The official programme of the tour of I ho Prince of Wales in India and Burma w hich opened on Thursday last, covers at period of four months, during which lie will visit nearly forty cities and other important, centres, and will leave hardly any part of the country unvisited. Apart from the vists to the Indian States, where iiis Royal Highness will he entertained in that spirit of hospitality for which the ruling Princes of Lidia, are famous, the chief features of the programme are the visits to the military centres of the Punjab and the large numbers of university towns ineluded in the tour.
