There was a lively scene in the Commons during the bombardment of Greenwood bv dissentient Unionist group in regard to the alleged breaches of the Irish Truce by Sinn Eeiners. Greenwood expressed regret that there had been many breaches of the truce but they must be dealt with in the wav contemplated by the truce. Lord Ciirzon interjected, “How much longer are we going to put up with this damned nonsense,” amid cheers and excitement The Speaker declared the question improper. ~ . - Lord Cnr»>n in apologising -said his feelings on this subject were rather strong.

In such a. settlement, the al egmnce of the south would not he -I'lest.oneL On the other hand, the hearty co-operation of the Southerners as citizens of the Empire could be expected. There are excellent reasons to hope that such an agreement is reachable. It is a 1 grea opportunity for Ulster.
