AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. SYDNEY October 27. It is announced that Miss Partridge (formerly Sister .Ligouri) has been discovered in a city street. She was then in company with a lrieud, ami also with her brother Mr Joseph Partridge. At her own request, she was taken to the police headquarters. She stated she was forcibly removed from home hist night and wanted protection. Later, however, the parties interested, including her brother, met at a round table conference at the Police Headquarters, at which Miss Partridge announced she would not go hack to ln'r brother, nor would she return to the Roman Catholic Church. Before this conference, tile ex-sister stated that when she was taken last night she was brought in a motor ear to a Justice of Peace and she there signed a statement she was prepared to go under her brother’s protection, providing he found tv suitable place for her. She has, however, refrained, under her solicitors advice, from making any further explanations of her adventures, beyond her statement that she was being taken somewhere when discovered.
