They believe that the substance which exploded did so because wrong qaantities of certain constituents wero used, thus bringing into existence a new explosive of astounding character, which bursts and creates another substance, which also explodes, Tho chemists arc busy tracking down the error. The new- explanation is duo to a discovery that the material which was supposed to have caused the disaster is intact in large quantities near the centre of the explosion. The rebuilding of the works will commence at- once. The cost is estimated at 250,000,000 marks.
