SALMON AND HAAST
SPECIAL TO GCAItOIAN. WELLINGTON, Oct. 13 Replying to a question put by Mr Seddon, Hon Guthrie (Minister of Marine) said the Chief Inspector of Fisheries intends making an inspection of Haast river during the coming summer as he considers it a suitable river for salmon. If he finds it to he so, arrangements will he made to stock it next spawning season.
