There have been several other skirmishes with the retxds, who are going through drill and musketry practice in the open ground at the Palace at iXilnmbtir. The leader there is compelling the working class Indians to dig the trenches, also to erect barricades and reap crops, and to destroy roads and bridges. • The public of Calcutta City are demanding more rigorous measures against the rebels.
