The demands of the Now Zealand Shearers’ and Shotl-hands’ Union for a revision of waßos and working eonfl it ions js heiiiß eonsidered by lli(> Arbitration Court at Wellington today. The matters in dispute have already been partially considered by the Court at Dunedin and Christchurch, but no pronouncement has yet been made. However, the Court will Rive a decision in the form of a Dominion award. Mr (Iravndler for the union, said that at most this was for only two years. The shearer had only received 33 per cent increase on the 1908 lißiires, while the employers’ income increased by over IDO per cent on the average; and this while the cost ol liviiiß had jumped somewhere near 80 per cent.
