A TRAIN WRECK
(Received This Day at, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 28
A train conveying delegates of the Third International Moscow to Riga was wrecked. Six delegates including Trimack, an Australian, and Hewlett of Britain, were killed. Tom Mann missed the train.
AN UGLY POSITION. (Received This Day at 8.30 a.m.) ' LONDON, July 28 It is understood ns a result of a Cabinet meeting to-day, Lord Curzon will reply to the French Note, reaffirming Britain’s contention that the Silesian situation dpes not warrant reinforcements until the Supreme Council has considered the matter.

Koseii replying to the French Ambassador enquiry regarding transport of troops, says the German Government has iio iiitention to deal with the question exclusively from a h'gal viewpoint. Meanwhile it is learnt no Supreme Council meets for a few days. The Government desire to state they unhesitatingly acknowledge the Council s decision.

CABLE FACILITIES. (Received This Day at 12.25 p.m.) BERLIN, July 28
The Moscow Government has given a large Scandinavian Company concessions to exploit cable communication between Denmark, Russia, China and Japan. It is understood this means the great northern cable will resume work m Russia.
