AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. MR MASSEY’S VIEWS. (Received Tin’s Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. Mr Massey is confident the wireless chain will he established, even if relays are necessary. Air Massey is receiving cables from New Zealand assuming the Premier’s participating in the Irish negotiations. He reiterates that the Conference has not intervened in Ireland, either individually or collectively with the exception of General Smuts.

It is understood -Mi 1 Hughes will tell Japan that she must accept, discussion on Pacific problems as part, of the Conference. America will not allow a preliminary discussion and is junking Japan’s acceptance conditionally on this. TOKIO, July 15 Japan li«s asked America for amplification of the proposed discussion on Pacific problems. In an inierview Huron Horn said Japan will spare no effort to help the success of (he Disarmament Conference, and welcomes the opportunity to vindicate her position before the world.
