THE WEST COAST TEAM

Muller sports are disappointed Steel, whoso knee is sore, did not eome, but the field will be so soft to-morrow that his absence will mean less than on a fine day. One car near Reefton to-day ran into four feet of water, and the hoys thought they were in a sea plane. The water came well over them. Then two ears had to he sent five miles out from Westport to take them on from the Loopline road, and the Urey ears'were left behind. The rain is steady here to-night. The Muller is up. The local men are not more hopeful than our chaps, as the weather is uncertain. Following is the Coast team to play to-morrow:— Osbourne, O’Callaghan, Powlev, Reynolds, Ryan, Nelson. Walton, Mclntosh, Rutherford, Mowman, O’Regan, Hall, Mouatt, King and Hagar. Reynolds replaces Steel. The other Reefton men did not conic on.
