AHAIIURA FAT STOCK SALE
The usual fortnight!) fixture at these Yards was held yesterday when 50 fat lambs, 60 fat wethers and 54 head ol fat cattle were submitted to public competition. Prices ranged near about t, those ruling at the last two sales, ox beef making up to 40/- per hundred for Ixist quality down to 34/- for plain and medium sorts. Heifer beef made up to 36/- per hundred while cow beef, of which there was a fair pereentag ■ yarded made from 25/- to 34/- per hundred. The entry of lambs sold well Messrs W. M. Houston and Co. report as follows: At the above yards yesterday our entry consisted of 129 fat sheep and 10 head of cattle. The usual buyers were present and prices realized were on a par with previous sale. We sold on account of Mr B. Harcourt. G 9 fat sheep at 255; on account of Mr L. W.
