THE FROLICS.

The Frolic* Concert I ‘arty gave their , initial performance at the All Saints Sunday Schoolroom last night before a crowded attendance, the ha.ll being packed to the doors long before eight o'clock. The programme was a good one, there not being a dull item throughout, encores being frequent whilst the comic items caused great laughter. The following are the items: Selection, Mel/eaii’s Orchestra ; Opening Choruses —“Wo Will have a Time Tonight” and “Oh, The Frolics”, The Frolics; Solo--Miss Stapleton; Dance Sailors Hornpipe, and Irish .Jig. Miss M. Gibbons; Solo, Mr A. H. Stuart; Solo and Chorus “Alice Blue Gown.” The Frolics; Solo “Quong,” (in character) Mr Lovett; Selection. McLean's Orchestra; Solo—Mrs McC'askill; Song and Dance “When Paderewski Plays.” (in character) Trhakowski Bros.; Solo Airs PI. Thomas; Quartette- “The Torpedo and the Whale,” Misses ('. and I). Lloyd. Messrs Stuart and Lovett. Violin Solo—Mr Flewellyn. The concerted items rendered by the Frolics Concert Party were as follows—“lrene," “Hawaiian Twilight,” “Wyoming Lullaby,” “Hawaiian Dreams”, “Indian Cradle Song,” “Patches,” and “Carry on the Good Work.” The soloists were Misses Davidson. 'Lovett, Fane, 0. and D. Lloyd, Messrs Lovett, and Heinz. Before the last item Bev. Purchas thanked the performers for giving them all a nice evening’s amusement ; also the audience for rolling up in such numbers and making smcli a financial success as it would be the proceeds going towards a fund for an oar-marked church work. The Bevd. Purchas also remarked that the Frolics Concert Party would in all probability be heard of again on July 28th. in connection with the Church Social to he held on that dale.

The singing of the 'National Anthem brought the programme to a dose.
