COUNTESS ARRESTED. BERLIN, April 20. Countess Elienore von Schlieffen waf arrested here to-day on a charge ol plotting to murder her nephew Counl George and his parents. The countess i son, Count Hans Siegfried, her companion, and several humbler person! alleged to be her confederates, were als< arrested. To-day’s arrests followed the arres yesterday at the Stettin railway statioi (Berlin) of two men who were found ti have a quantity of explosives wit! which, it is alleged, they intended t blow up a wing of Castle Sohlieffenlwm in which Count George lives with h : | parents and to which he is heir. Had the plot succeeded Count Mans ; -..h0 is in need of money, would hav inherited the family estates. It is alleged that the countess sui plied 10,000 marks to pay the men' were to commit the outrage, hut he many friends believe that she and lie son will be able to refute the charge.
