Evans, (Old Boys) ; wing three-quarter. W. Ford (Morivale) ; centre three-quarter, A. Thompson (Old Boys),; five-eighths, D. McCormick (Marists); wing’forward, Ivor Gray, (Old Bovs); front rank ,T. Ellis (Marists); lock, Dr Campbell, (’Varsity), side scrum, L. Petersen and B. McLeary (Marists), and E. Cummings (Linwood). AMATEUR LEAGUE. (Received This Day at 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 15 . Suggestions have been made in amateur circles to form an Amateur Rugby League in or a--- tion to the existing League. It is uni ' idcd the ..mateur Bodies Conference last year would unanimously have accepted the amateur definition had the Rugby League agreed to eliminate professionals from club control. FOOTBALL CONFERENCE. SYDNEY, June 15. During the Springboks’ stay in Sydney, a conference will be held with New South Wales and New Zealand representatives on international control of Rugby, and Australasian proposed amendments.
