jiiiiEGRAPn—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION] FINED FOR SMUGGLING. AUCKLAND, June 10. James Larkin and James MoNully, two members of the crew of the Tasmania, admitted smuggling goods, spirits, tobacco, cigarettes etc., valued •at £134 from the vessel. They were fined £IOO each or six months gaol. R.S.A. DUNEDIN, June 10. The Dominion Conference of tho R.S.A. resumed and referred to the Repatriation Committee, a communication from N.Z. Workers’ Union offering co-operation in settlement of soldiers’ land, and reminding members that may soldiers were being placed on relief works at less than the current rates of pay. The Conference afterwards resolved into committees, resuming in the afternoon.
