THURSDAY, JUNE 9th. (Before H. W. Bundle Esq., S.M.) DEFENCE ACM. K. Robertson (Defence officer) v. Allan W. Dale ,a charge of failure to attend parade. Convicted and fined 10s in default 48 hours detention. LIC ENSING ACT. An application for a prohibition order was made by a. parent against her son, who did not appear. After hearing applicant and Con. Quinn, the application was granted for twelve months. The police charged a prohibited person (for whom Air Murdoch appeared) with breach of the order. A (ilea of guilty was entered. Fined 10s and costs 7s. An application was made for a prohibition order against a local resident by his brother. After hearing evidence the application was granted for twelve months. The police charged an old resident (for whom Air Murdoch appeared! with being found drunk in Rovcll St. who pleaded not guilty. Constable Quinn and Sergt King gave evidence and the defendant called several witnesses who gave evidence that the defendant was sober. His Worship held the charge was not proved and dismissed the charge.
