AMUSEMENTS.

—— , POLLARD’S PICTURES. ALL-BRITISH PRODUCTION TO-NIGHT. To-night Pollards are screening an All-British picture “Boundary House,” from the novel by Peggy Wibling starring Alma Taylor and Gerald Ames. A famous producer, a widely read author, two of Britain’s most popular players, these aro just a few of the attractions of “Boundary House.” In addition, the story is better, and the production is an indication of the forward movement made by British Producers, and will be appreciated by all classes of picture patrons. The romance of a country girl and a touring acrobat. The mismating of May and December, and the terrible revenge inspired by demon jealousy rebounds upon the man who instigated the plot against an innocent victim. A beautiful romance staged amid the most glorious of all environments—th« natural beauties of Old England. You will remember the famous old Scottish song, Auld Robin Gray,” with the young girl being driven by poverty and the prolonged absence of her lover, into marriage with a man old enough to be her father, and tho return of her lover after manys years—too late to claim his bride. This is partly the story of “Boundary House,” except that Fate at this stage takes a hand, and the lovers become re-united through tho very jealousy that separated wife and husband.

McLEAN’S PICTURES. DOUBLE STAR PROGRAMME, FRIDAY. To-morrow evening Mr McLean presents a double star programme. The first one shows piquant Ethel Clayton in “A Lady in Love.” A striking verification of the truth in tho statement —“Marry in Hasfc and Repent at I/eisure.” She was only young, and hearing what she interpreted as the call of love, she ran away from college with a man she barely knew. She certainly did not know he had another wife. Neglecting to obtain a divorce, she at last met a man whom she knew she really loved. Then she realised the tangle of complications in which she was enmeshed. How she at last got free and won a glorious happiness is told in this delightful story. Harrison (Ford inteiprets tho part of the man she really loves. The second star is a Paramount Artcraft picture starring dainty petite Marguerite Clark in “Easy to Get.” The joyous story of a young man who preached the fact that all girls were “Easy to Get,” and oP the spirited girl he thought ho so easily got. “Easy to get eh? Well I’ll show him if I am!’ And so she proceeded to lead him the merriest and wildest of chases. In the end ho got her; but did ho change his opinion about girls! We’ll say he did ! Also further chapters of the serial “Elmo the Fearless.”
