Just and Co., electrical engineers of Revell Street, and the capital display made reflects every credit on their workmanship. The Kilties Band paraded Revell Street shortly before 8 o’clock, and then made their way to Cass Square where a programme was rendered by the Kilties and Town Bands, and Mr McLean’s orchestra, with a hornpipe by M.

McGregor. Mr A. G. Pilkington, on behalf of the Beautifying Association, returned thanks to the large assemblage, asking for a continuance of their personal support to the work of the Association. He also voiced the indebtedness of the Association to Mr Cranston and staff for the splendid illumination of the Square, and to Messrs Just and Co. for the capable manner in which they had arranged the installation, the members of the two bands and Mr McLean’s orchestra and other performers.
