POLLARD'S PICTURES.

MONDAY

On Monday next Pollards are presenting one of the most popular screen actors, Earle Williams, in Vitagraph’s latest comedy drama, entitled “The Fortune Hunter.” Earle Williams has never appeared to better advantage than he does in this picture. He is ably supported by the full strength of the Vitagraph Coy. and the picture is one of the best turned out by this popular Coy. “The Fortune Hunter” is human nature laid bare; it is a throbbing page from real life—the life that all of us lead, but that many of us neve, see below the surface. And—it’s a powerful love story as well as a cla-um call to all men whose brains have become lulled to sleep. The laggard, Lie failure, the ne’er-do-weel still hoping for success, will find in this picture a needed inspiration—it carries a clear, strong, message of hope. A play for head and heart—“ The Fortune Hun ter” is both beverage and tonic. While it pleases the palate as rare entertainment it will inspire the soul with a new birth of optimism. The stage produc : tion achieved a memorable and recordbreaking success—the delightful photo play production will gather a new h.v vest of popularity, and sow broadca-.t, anew, its laughs and logic. The story in itself is one of absorbing interest. It is the type that is ever popular w.tli old and young because it idealises youthful aspirations and achievement. The second star will be “The Imp,” featuring Elsie Janis, the Selyznick popular star.
