ADDINCTON STORK MARKET. SHEEP FIRMER. (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs Matson and Co. report as follows regarding their slock sale yesterday:— Store Sheep.—A small yarding, with a large proportion of wethers and lambs and a few lines of good ewes, all of which sold much more briskly than last week, showing a general advantage of from Is to 3s per head. Rest, sound mouth ewes from 13s to 15s, others from 9s to 12s; two tooth ewes from 13s to 18s; others from 16s 6d. Best wethers from 12s to 14s 8d; others from 8s lid upwards. Best lambs from 10s (id to 12s 6d, a few exceptionally good ewe lambs to 15s; cull lambs 5s upwards. Store Sheep—Very small yarding. Only about a dozen pens of nondescript stuff was offered and no quotable lines sold, but the market was generally indifferent.

Iloef —Medium yarding, including some excellent quality and also some very indifferent sorts. The market generally was firmer especially for best quality, which sold well. Best steers £lO 5s to £2l 15s; prime £ls 5s to £lB 17s 6d; medium £lO 10s to £l4 15s; light and unfinished £6 5s to £lO ; best heifers, extra prime £ll 15s to £l2 17s 6d; prime £9 to £ll 10s; others £5 to 08 10s. Best cows £7 10s to £lO 2s 6d ; others £4 to £7. The tone of the market generally was brighter. Fat sheep.—A very large yarding including a large proportion of ewes. Some of excellent quality wore yarded, but the entry generally was indifferent The market, in our opinion, opened easier especially for ewes, and although showed improvement as it progressed, was generally weaker than last week. Best wethers 19s to 23s 4d ; prime 15s to IBs 6d ; others 12s to 14s 0d ; best ewes 13s 6d to 17s lOd ; prime 11s to 13s; others 6s to 10s 6d. Lambs were slightly firmer.
