ex-kaiserin dead. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. REUTER’S TELEGRAMS(Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, April 11 Obituary—The ex-Kaiserin of Germany. The deceased was Princess Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein -Sonderburg-Augus-tenburg, born October 22nd., 1858, and was married to Wilhelm 11, on February 27th., 1881. REUTER’S TELEGRAMS. (Received this day at 12.30 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 11. The Kaiser and Adalbert were present at the death-bed when the exKaiserin’s end came at six in the morning.l The Kaiser retired weeping bitterly. The hells at Doom tolled throughout the morning. The funeral takes place at Potsdam. LATER PARTICULARS. 'Received This Day at 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, April 11. With the death of the ex-Kaiserin disappears one of the most pathetic figures of the Hohenzollern regime. She has been in failing health ever since she joined her husband in exile. She has been a prey to. fears of poison and aerial attacks and other perils. The end has been so long expected that the Duchess of Brunswick went to Germany in February to arrange the funeral. The ex-Kaiseri finally succumbed to heart failure.
