[by TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION'] SWIMMING CARNIVAL. PALMERSTON NORTH, April 8. At the swinlming carnival at the tepid baths, the 300 metres invitation resulted—Longer 1. E. V. Cunnold 2, and L. L. Ivronfeld 3. Linger started at scr. and gradually drew ahead, and won comfortably from Kronfeld by 8 yards, Cunnold another ten yards, third Time 3.5. In the 100 yards invitation Danger beat Kronfield after a close race and close finish. Time 61 2-5. Last night’s swimming was postponed till Saturday owing to had weather.
